NPR Interview: Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane
I was a guest today on WHYY Philadelphia’s show “Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane.” I really enjoyed speaking with Marty and appreciate the opportunity to share my story. Here’s the link to the interview:
Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane: Dan Sheehan
Great interview, Dan, thank you for sharing. I salute you for your helping get the word out to those who may need it and don’t recognize it until they hear others speak.
Thanks Valerie. I appreciate your support.
Best,
Dan
Dan – this was excellent to listen to. I only intended to catch a few minutes and pick it up again the next day, but ended up listening to every word in one sitting! Marty Moss-Coane really did her homework on your book, and you were an excellent guest. It’s great to see your book getting some attention and getting the opportunity to reach people it might help.
Thanks, Ali. Marty showed me her copy of my book just before the show. It had yellow stickies jutting out every direction and she’d circled and highlighted various passages throughout. It was really flattering to see how much preparation she had done before the show. She’s a pro!
Fly Boy- I listened to the interview and am now passing it on to {a friend} TFC ’77-79 (was a big part of building Shelburne) and is also the father of a recent TFC Trailmaster. {His son} is okay physically, but was just involved in a suicide bomb catastrophe and lost several fellow soldiers and friends. He’s still overseas. I have a feeling it will help {him} to listen/read your interview and book. Thanks for reaching beyond to this level of bravery.
– Annie aka Milly B.
Milly B–Thanks so much for passing my stuff along to Nik. I hope it gives him some useful information for when Levi comes home. That is when Nik can really help his son figure out how to move forward after his service. Each of us has to figure it out for ourselves but that doesn’t mean we have to do it alone.
It’s always good to hear from TFC folk. I hope you are doing well.
Foo,
Dan
