About

I’ve built trails in New Hampshire, flown gunships in Iraq, and now write books in California–when I’m not outside chasing my feral kids, walking our fatheaded mutts, or surfing.

Since leaving the Marine Corps, I’ve written two nonfiction books about the human costs of war. My current project is a contemporary fantasy series which, if it’s half as much fun to read as it is to write, will knock your socks off.

However, it provides a remarkable window into the experiences of combat pilots and the mindset of soldiers.”
IndieReader.com Review, Christopher James Dubey
“Sense-stirring descriptions of air combat, and the terrible responsibility pilots of Cobra helicopter gunships face when deciding whether to kill people or not with their rockets, are both riveting.”
